Outline of Final Research Achievements

Caring, also known as the essence of nursing, is considered important in basic nursing education. However, caring encompasses emotional aspects that can be influenced by students' views on nursing and ethics. Thus, the educational methods for teaching caring have traditionally focused on clinical practice, and teaching caring in lectures has not been extensively studied.

This study focuses on educational methods in the field of education, where emotional education has been prioritized. It examines the potential application of emotional education to the teaching of caring in basic nursing education. By incorporating moral education and Narrative Based Medicine, specific lesson plans for teaching caring through lectures and exercises have been developed.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
