Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to promote the formation of an exercise habit using the results of body composition measurements and to determine its effectiveness. No gender differences were found in body composition at each grade level, but the increase in body fat percentage among girls became more pronounced as they progressed through the grades. Total physical activity was higher in the fourth grade than in the fifth and sixth grades for both sexes. By activity intensity, there was no significant difference in high-intensity activity, while moderate-intensity activity was higher in the 4th grade for boys, and low-intensity activity was highest in the 4th grade for both sexes. This suggests that although the amount of physical activity obtained from sports as a discipline was secured, physical activity in daily life, such as walking, decreased with the progression of the grade.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
