Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In Japan, facing a super-aged society, the development of a comprehensive frailty prevention strategy is an urgent task. While resistance exercise is effective in preventing sarcopenia, there is not enough consensus on its effectiveness in preventing dementia. This study suggests the potential benefits of resistance exercise and blood flow restriction exercise in improving cognitive function, indicating their usefulness as part of a comprehensive frailty prevention strategy.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
