Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Rural areas are facing the issue of a lack of people to take part in community development. As a means of solving this problem, this study focused on fostering a willingness to get involved in community issues through study tours. The results of a quantitative analysis revealed the effects of the learning process ( implicit and explicit learning) on learning outcomes (knowledge acquisition and self-efficacy) and the effects of learning outcomes on learning objective (fostering willingness to get involved in community issues). Knowledge acquisition is more important than self-efficacy in fostering willingness to get involved in community issues, and knowledge acquisition is facilitated by implicit learning. However, self-efficacy is more important than implicit learning for knowledge acquisition, and self-efficacy is facilitated by explicit learning.

学術的貢献として、本研究は観光研究、地域研究、および教育研究の知見を統合して仮説モデルを形成し、学習プロセスと学習成果の二重螺旋モデルを構築した。この研究成果は各分野に新たな知見を加えることで、その発展に寄与する。さらに、本研究の提案する二重螺旋モデルはスタディツアーに限らず、多様なドメインに対する課題解決型学習に広く応用することが期待できる。 実務的貢献として、本研究の発見事項を用いてスタディツアーの学習体験を改善することで、地域づくりに参加する関係人口を増やし地域コミュニティの持続可能性を高めることができる。
