Reason
This research focuses on the tourism impacts, specifically on the impacts of overtourism to local residents and tourists.
As the impact of COVID-19 pandemic since January 2019, global tourism industry since then dramatically reduced or temporarily stopped. This is the reason for the adjustment of the research design and the delay of research survey.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
At this moment, I got one research article accepted and going to be published. The second conceptual paper "Structure of Negative Tourism Impacts and Overtourism" is under review. Another conceptual research article is in preparation.
At the same time, I am working to adjust the research design for the interview survey. Based on the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the survey time will be determined to assure that it is feasible, the data obtained are fit with the research aim, and to make sure safety to all surveyors and survey participants.

Causes of Carryover |
Covid-19 pandemic has changed everything. Tourism is the most critical industry. In the circumstance, the surveys for the research have been seriously affected. I have re-design the research framework and survey to suite the existing situation. Once the Covid-19 calms down, the survey will be conducted. The budget is still needed to implement the research.
