Current Status of Research Progress

4: Progress in research has been delayed.

Reason

This research focuses on the tourism impacts, specifically on the impacts of overtourism to local residents and tourists.
As the impact of COVID-19 pandemic since January 2019, global tourism industry since then dramatically reduced or temporarily stopped. This is the reason for the adjustment of the research design and the delay of research survey.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

At this moment, I got one research article accepted and going to be published as shown in the achievements.

At the same time, I am working to adjust the research design for the interview survey. Based on the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the survey time will be determined to assure that it is feasible, the data obtained are fit with the research aim, and to make sure safety to all surveyors and survey participants.

Causes of Carryover

It was used for the hearing survey to some tourism destinations, buying documents, and research equipment.
