Keywords | cognitive bias / neural circuit / retrograde tracing / single cell analysis / fiber photometry / optimism / pessimism |
Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We expressed GCaMP and RCaMP in two different populations of BLA and successfully recorded the neuronal activity of the two population of cells during ambiguou cue interpretation task. Our preliminary data showed that the relative excitability of the "positve" cells and "negative" cells determines the direction of cognitive bias of experiment subjects.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Due to the coronovirus, we had to sacrifice part of our animals. So our sample size was not enough for the experiment of this stage.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
We will increase the sample number for calcium imaging test to arrive at a solid conclusion.
|
Causes of Carryover |
We will need to purchase animal, packing AAV virus, consumerables for calcium imaging
