Outline of Annual Research Achievements

中島は,昨年度に続き直交斜交箙ゲージ理論のクーロン枝についてのFinkelbergとHananyとの共同研究を行った.超対称性ゲージ理論のクーロン枝の数学的な定義は,中島とBraverman, Finkelbergの共同研究により与えられたが,物質場に対応する表現が余接型という条件を課していた.その後,Braverman,Dhillon,Finkelberg,Raskin,Travkinによりアノマリーがキャンセルしている一般の表現に拡張された.直交斜交箙ゲージ理論は,この拡張された定義の例になっている.

直交群もしくは斜交群Gを選び,Gのべき零軌道O(σ)とGのLanglands双対G∨のべき零軌道O(ρ)の組に対して,直線型の箙に付随した直交斜交箙ゲージ理論を然るべく定める.このとき,対応するクーロン枝の開集合が,O(σ)のBarbasch-Vogan双対d(O(σ))のある被覆と,O(ρ)の同変Slodowy横断片の積のシンプレクティック商になることを示した.証明の第一ステップは,クーロン枝を直交斜交弓箭多様体と同定することであり,第二ステップではHanany-Witten transitionを用いて,上の積のシンプレクティック商に同型であることを証明する.ただし,通常のBarbasch-Vogan双対の他に,Barbasch-Ma-Sun-Zhuの意味でのmetaplectic Barbasch-Vogan双対も含める必要があり,このときはGもG∨も斜交群になり,Langlands双対が通常と異なる.また,被覆は,d(O)の同変基本群のLusztig商の共役類を用いて与えられるが,Achar-SommersによるBarbasch-Vogan双対の拡張により定められる.双対の拡張をmetaplectic Barbasch-Vogan双対の場合に定義することも,新たな研究成果である.

荒川は,今年度は本事業による研究は行わなかった.
