Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We aimed to develop a new type of polarization switchable materials, in which polarization direction can be reversed by temperature change and light irradiation. We succeeded in synthesizing new cobalt valence tautomeric complexes with enantiopure chiral ligands (R or S), which exhibit polarization change via electron transfer between cobalt and redox-active ligand.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
