Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To reduce educational disparities among schools, China has actively promoted collaboration among schools. In this context, building educational groups has become one of the most widely adopted approaches to school improvement. In this study, I attempted to visualize a hybrid school collaboration model that incorporates both hierarchical and egalitarian approaches in Chengdu, China. The results revealed that top-down policy initiatives, bottom-up school autonomy, and shared responsibility for building quality education contributed to the improvement of schools by education groups. The study also revealed that lack of policy coordination, shared values, and lack of trust within the education group were obstacles to this reform.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
