Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In spite of COVID 19, I managed to coordinate my plans and carried out several important activities. I completed the development of the conceptual framework and attended many international and national conferences held ONLINE in 2020. I successfully published a research article in The Asia Pacific Education Researcher peer-reviewed international journal (impact factor of 1.121) and published papers in the proceedings of several international conferences. I have also participated in more than 10 online courses. It helped me to understand my research problem. In the final stage of the project, I have completed the data collection and am currently analyzing the data.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Due to COVID travel restrictions, data collection was delayed. As a result, I have been able to revise and optimize my original data collection plan. My study is now well underway and I plan to publish the main results in 2021 (as I have received approval to extend the project duration).
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In 2021, I plan to finalize the data analysis and complete the draft of the research paper; I plan to submit the paper to a top-ranked international journal in 2021. In the meantime, I plan to participate in one or two international conferences to disseminate the results.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Due to COVID19-related restrictions I was unable to arrange trips to partner institutions abroad, nor was I able to attend international conferences in-person. I am planning to utilize the remaining amount of the grant (JPY336,039)for the publication of my results in an international peer-reviewed journal and present at an international conference in 2021.
