| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, research achievements have been significantly delayed. However, we were still able to set up all necessary building blocks to complete the study. So far, we obtained transgenic mice and AAVs already started to test parameters for memory engram tagging and manipulation. On the other hand, we conducted several preliminary experiments to find stable and replicable behavioral parameters. Because of the complexe nature of the study, there are many parameters to adjust (e.g. type of stimuli, intensity of stimuli, intensity of unconditioned stimulus, etc) before obtaining stable data. After completing few more adjustements, we hope to start and complete running experiments this year. In the meantime, we published a theoretical study about higher-order conditioning and how it can be used in inferential processes in the spatial domain.
