Outline of Final Research Achievements

For the applications of symplectic field thoery, I studied its functoriality and invariants. I wrote a paper about a technique used for the construction of symplectic field theory, the smoothness of Kuranishi structure, in the case of the construction of Morse theory.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

Contact 多様体を調べるための道具として構成された symplectic field theory (SFT) であるが、まだその応用やそのための計算方法は十分調べられていない。symplectic 幾何学における FLoer 理論がそうであったように、SFT から得られる不変量等が contact 多様体の性質の研究に重要な役割を果たすことが期待される。本研究ではそのための SFT の不変量の構成や計算方法の研究等を行った。
