Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1) We had a collaboration meeting in December 2021 in Heidelberg (Germany). 2) We have presented the preliminary results of A-SLOTH at various international conferences (online). 3) One student in Glasgow (Scotland) is still working on simulations of inhomogeneous metal mixing. Their results will eventually be implemented into A-SLOTH. 4) One student in Heidelberg (Germany) is working on a new method to use unsupervised clustering to compare our simulated MW satellites with observations. 5) One visiting Master student from Orelans (France) is using A-SLOTH to study the influence of the baryonic streaming velocity on the formation of the Milky Way. 6) We have calibrated the model based on six independent observational constraints.
Achievements: 1) The source code of A-SLOTH is now public: https://gitlab.com/thartwig/asloth 2) We have submitted one code-release paper to ApJ (under review) 3) We have submitted one code-release paper to JOSS (under review: https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/4301) 4) One paper that is based on A-SLOTH was published (Chen+22 MNRAS, Volume 513, Issue 1, pp.934-950) 5) One paper that is based on A-SLOTH was submitted (Magg+21, https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.15948)
