Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The aim of this study is to find the physiological role of primary cilium derived extracellular vesicles in acceptor cells. We devised a filtration method to separate and purify primary cilium derived extracellular vesicles from exosomes. Next, the compatibility of the proteomics analysis with the devised pcEVs purification method was tested. The results showed that the method was not fully compatible with the subsequent proteomics analysis due to subsequent bovine serum albumin contamination. Subsequently, the extraction methods of pcEVs from filter after purification was changed for further analysis.
