Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The project aimed at evaluating larp (live-action role-play) as a method to create simulated co-presence with absent others and develop tools for collaborative production and post-game learning evaluation. The focus of the project was on awareness-raising with the example of the challenges neuro-minorities face in mainstream society. Based on interviews and together with members of neurodivergent groups, we designed the larp “Sirius - 11F84 - Colors of Light” and conducted two successful runs in Germany and Japan. In the debriefings, we used the tool “reLarp,” which we had developed, and showed that participants gained awareness and an understanding of the challenges of neuro-minorities in our society. The larp script and the debriefing tool are available for free via the project website.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
