Research Abstract

本研究では、二重ラセンを含む多重ラセン構造の制御とこれを基盤とした新しい物質群の創製、二重ラセンに由来する新規物性・機能の開拓を目指す。また、独自の概念である「ラセン誘起と記憶」の手法を駆使した新たな二重ラセン高分子・超分子の創製にも取り組む。二重ラセン構造からなる新たな物質群からは、二重ラセンの特徴を最大限に活用した生命の機能(分子認識能、不斉触媒能、情報機能)の発現、既存の材料の物性・性能をはるかに凌ぐ、革新的材料の創製も可能になると期待される。
