Research Abstract

本研究では、T3SSから分泌される一群のエフェクターに着目し、赤痢菌の上皮固有バリアーと自然免疫バリアーの克服に関わるエフェクターとその標的因子を同定し、それら細胞内機能を、分子、細胞、組織、個体の各レベルで精査する。感染の各過程におけるこれらエフェクターと宿主標的因子との相互作用を時空列的に解析するとともに、他の粘膜病原細菌の類似なエフェクターとも比較解析し、これら知見を統合して、粘膜病原細菌の新たな感染現象と腸粘膜バリアに対する普遍的および特異的な感染戦略を明らかにする。
