Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、カーボンナノチューブの光励起した状態の引き起こす物性を理論的に、定量的にナノチューブの立体構造の関数として求めることである。具体的には、(1)励起子状態のエネルギー、また暗励起状態エネルギーの制御、(2)近接場相互作用の定式化、(3)欠陥準位とラマン分光、(4)非線形光学感受率の計算である。本研究目的を達成するために、既存の自主開発したカーボンナノチューブ専用の計算プログラムライブラリーに新たな物性量を計算するプログラム群を作成する。研究計画当初は、現在のライブラリーが動いている既存の並列計算機を用いて、多くのナノチューブの立体構造に対する物性計算を同時に行う。
