| Research Abstract |
(1)男女の生理的・身体的差異、特に女性の出産や月経に伴なう身体性が穢と意識されて女性の地位の周縁化にどのような影響を与えたかを明らかにする。具体的には感染症や出産、尼、遊女、祭礼などを取り上げて、広く事例を分析する。
(2)上記の意識がその後も女人結界や女人禁制に帰結していった歴史的実態を明らかにする。
