| Research Abstract |
本研究は、西欧社会、東南アジア、中国、日本における公共性の在り方を調査し、比較研究する。公共性というと、一般には社会的理念と受け取られがちであるが、本研究では、生活や都市空間に埋め込まれた公私観念を探求する。
この生活や都市空間に埋め込まれた公私観念を研究するために、都市空間の作られ方やそこでの人々の活動の在り方を、具体的には、都市景観、まちづくり、社会福祉政策、観光、教育、ホームレス対策などから探ってゆく。
