Research Abstract

本研究の主目的は、美術家の創作プロセスに関する心理学的検討を通じ、芸術創造の認知モデルを構築することである。美術創作プロセスの解明は、これまで科学的な検討がほとんど行われていなかった。そのため、その実証的な検討は、学術的にも教育的にも大きな意義を持っていると思われる。本研究プロジェクトでは、そのような目的の達成のために、絵画や立体、写真などのメディアを用いて創作活動を行っている現代美術家を対象に、インタビューや心理実験などの多様な手法を組み合わせる「マルチメソッド」を用いて、研究を行っている。
