高感度分光多点観測による超高層大気変動の研究

Research Abstract

(1) 平成21年1月にノルウェー・トロムソにあるEISCATレーダーサイトに設置した大型エタロンを用いたファブリ・ペロー干渉計(FPI)は、引き続き平成21年冬期にも自動定常観測を継続した。このFPIによる中性風の観測データとEISCATレーダーによるプラズマの観測データを比較することにより、オーロラ粒子降り込みに伴う熱圏加熱のエネルギー収支の詳細を明らかにした。
(2) 小型エタロンを用いた3台のFPIは、平成22年2月にタイのチェンマイ、平成22年6月にインドネシア・コトタバン、平成23年3月にオストラリア・ダーウィンに設置し、それぞれ自動定常観測を開始した。
(3) ロシアのマガダン・パラツンカ、日本国内の母子里・陸別・信楽・佐多・与那国、インドネシアのコトタバン、オーストラリアのダーウィン、カナダのレゾリュートベイ、アサバスカにおける高感度全天カメラ・フォトメータなどの分光観測機器による自動観測を維持・継続した。これらのデータをデータベース化し、ホームページで公開した。
(4) これらの観測から、高緯度極冠域の電離圏プラズマの舌状構造やパッチ構造の動態、中緯度の中規模伝搬性電離圏擾乱の動態やそのFORMOSAT-2衛星と地上カメラの同時観測、中間圏大気重力波の詳細構造、磁気嵐に伴う低緯度オーロラを引き起こすプラズマの特性やPc1帯地磁気脈動の特性などが明らかになった。
(5) 中低緯度城におけるGPS受信機網による観測データを用いた全電子数データの算出とそのデータベース化を進めた。特に東南アジア及び東アジアデータを中心に行った。
(6) これらの観測や得られた成果を国内外の学会や研究会で紹介し、共同研究を推進を奨励した。
