Research Abstract

機能性を高めた新規触媒の設計開発は環境負荷の軽減を目的とした有機変換反応の高効率化と高選択性を実現する上で、益々重要となってきている。Bronsted酸ならびに塩基は有機変換反応にいて古くから汎用されてきた触媒であるが、この最もポピュラーな触媒に不斉認識や分子認識などの基質認識能を付与することができれば、酸/塩基触媒反応における革新的なアプローチが期待される。また、触媒分子そのものを化学的に安定な共有結合で構築でき、本来的に酸あるいは塩基触媒であることから、回収再使用系の構築も容易である。加えて穏和な反応条件の確立、効率的かつ選択的な有機変換反応の開拓など、環境への負荷軽減を図る新規触媒反応系の開拓は火急の用件である。本研究はこうした時代要請に応えうる基質認識型Bronsted酸ならびに塩基触媒の設計開発を目的とする。
