Research Abstract

本研究では,イオン性物質である氷やイオン結晶および炭素系物質表面における水素分子の吸着状態を詳細に明らかにするとともに,水素分子オルトーパラ転換と分子形成機構の解明を行う.特にアモルファス氷やカーボンナノチューブに存在するナノ細孔に焦点を当てて研究を進める.ナノサイズの細孔内では,分子の回転運動が制限を受け,さらに電気双極子場の影響で強い四重極相互作用が働く.これらの制限空間効果の影響を明らかにすることでナノ空間の果たす役割を解明する
