Research Abstract |
A surface modification using cavitation impact, which was called cavitation shotless peening, CSP, was proposed. Improvements of yield stress, fatigue strength, wear and hydrogen embrittlement by CSP were proofed, with introducing compressive residual stress and releasing micro strain.
