Research Abstract

上皮間充織形質転換(EMT)は外胚葉由来細胞が中胚葉(間充織)細胞様形質を獲得し、運動性や浸潤性を獲得する過程である。EMT様変化は多くの癌細胞の浸潤転移にも関与し、その分子機構を明らかにする事は生物学的のみならず医学的にも注目されている。EMTの実態をなす根幹の一側面はE-cadherinの不活性化とある種のintegrinの活性化である。本研究ではEMTにおける浸潤性獲得機序の解析を主な目的とする。その為、まずはTGFβ1によるE-cadherinの不活性化の分子機構を明らかにする。
