Research Abstract

北ケニアで発見した中期中新世の大型類人猿、ナチョラビテクスの化石は、2体の全身骨格と2個の頭骨を含む膨大な数にのぼる。これらを整理、記載、個別的、また総合的な分析、調査を行い、ナチョラビテクスの諸特徴を探り、現生数人猿とヒトの共通祖先モデルの構築にも迫る研究である。
