Research Abstract |
To develop an antigen detection-based diagnosis method for murine pathogenic Helicobacter species, H. hepaticus, we prepared a monoclonal antibody (MAb#5-12D) specific for H.hepaticus. A sandwich ELISA using the MAb#5-12D detected as little as 104CFU of H. hepaticus. In addition, an immunochromatographic method allowed specific, quick and easy detection of H. hepaticus within 10 min.
