Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、学習英文法の内容を根本的に見直し、科学的根拠を与えることにある。第一に、好ましくない有害な英語教育の内容を洗い出すこと、第二に、いまの英語の実態を反映していない高等学校の学習内容、受験参考書や英和辞典の内容を、科学的な実態調査をもとに修正を求めることにある。そのために、4年間に達成すべき以下の3つの目標を立てた。
(1)学習文法を形成する多様な教材の中身を点検し、問題点を洗い出すこと。
(2)phraseologyの研究を進め、現代英語の実態を明らかにすること。
(3)(1)(2)の成果をもとにした新たな学習英文法書の枠組みを公開すること。
