Research Abstract |
The new government course guidelines for the junior high school defined relating the club activities called "Bukatsudo" with a curriculum. In response to this, we clarified the actual condition of "Bukatsudo" of a junior high school, and the situation of teachers' "Bukatsudo" instruction through questionnaire and interview investigation. As a result, we clarified the following three points. "Bukatsudo" is materialized by the teachers' arbitrary and goodwill. "Bukatsudo" offers equally the opportunity for junior high school students to participate in sports and art. There are disparities in "Bukatsudo" by teachers and by the regions.
