Research Abstract

温度勾配を駆動力とする量子効果の系統立てた研究は、理論・実験とも未開拓である。そこで、温度勾配が引き起こす熱流による新しい量子輸送現象(量子熱電効果)を探索し、それらを系統的に記述できる非平衡理論を構築することを研究目的とした。我々の研究方針として、新奇な熱量子効果を示す物理現象を提案し、理論的に解明する。さらに提案した熱量子効果現象の実証実験を行う。具体的な量子熱電効果の現象として、磁場中接合界面の非対称ポテンシャル系、そして、相互作用がある系という以下の場合である。
(1)磁場中の量子熱電効果(量子ネルンスト効果)
(2)スピン軌道相互作用系での量子熱流輸送現象
