Research Abstract |
A model of mantle evolution in Mars is constructed based on two-dimensional simulation of a coupled magmatism-mantle convection system. Similar model is developed for the Earth, too, and it is suggested that the Earth has evolved in two stages corresponding to the Archean-Proterozoic transition.
