| Research Abstract |
In this study, we designed artificial cell membranes coated with ultrathin metallic layer as a novel hybrid nanomaterial. Themetal-coated liposomal membraneswereprepared by adopting electroless plating technique on the cerasomes as highly stable artificial cell membranes developed by us. We also clarified characteristic manipulation behaviorof artificial cell membranes having vesicular or disk-like structure, based on the molecular recognition functionally introduced into the membranes.
