Research Abstract |
A non-invasive sensing technique using evanescent wave for the refractive index and electrostatic potential of cell was developed in order to control ion transport between cell and culture solution in microfluidic device. A novel technique to detect refractive index difference was proposed utilizing light scattering by evanescent wave illumination. A color imaging of electrostatic potential distribution was achieved by developing a two-color LIF technique.
