超小型精密自走機構を用いた高速連続ナノ転写加工と局所科学的加工

Research Abstract

本研究では微細加工機能を有する1立方インチサイズの超小型自走精密機械を反応性ガスチャンバー内で稼動させ、機械的微細形状転写法(ナノイプリント)と微細化学反応加工を融合させた新しい高速微細表面加工法を提案し、実験的に検証すること。
すで基本性能を確立した圧電素子と電磁石を用いた超小型精密自走機構を改良し、ナノメートル移動分解能を有するようにし、さらにナノオーダの凹凸を有する微細な型を精密に加工面に転写するための新しい微動アクチュエータを提案し検討した。ここでは微小ボイスコイルアクチュエータにより微小加工されたクリスタル製の型を母材に転写し、熱または光で硬化させる。同時にピコリットルオーダーの極微小液滴の精密塗布機構により、局所において化学反応を発生させ、金属または非金属表面をナノ処理できるかどうかについて検証を行った。
本年度は超小型自走機械がまずナノインプリント用工具アクチュータの下に誘導され、精密な転写加工を行う。さらにそれらの加工サンプルはSPMなどの計測器の下まで誘導し、その精度の検証を行った。これらの広域の誘導はカメラを用いたPCで制御されるが、それぞれの局所位置での位置決めはナノメートル分解能を有するリニアスケールで行い、自在性と精密性の両方を実現した。
