Research Abstract

真核細胞の染色体DNA複製は、一回の細胞分裂周期につき一度だけ過不足なく起きるように厳密な制御を受けている。細胞は、1)S期に染色体DNA複製を開始させる活性と、2)染色体DNAの再複製を阻止する活性を巧妙に組み合わせることで、この制御を成立させている。これらのうち、本研究では「染色体DNA複製の開始反応」を分子レベルで理解することを目指す。具体的には以下の3点について解析を進めてゆく。(1)Sld2,Sld3,Dpb11の役割、(2)Cdc45,GINS複合体の役割、(3)Sld3オーソログの探索。
