Research Abstract

Affinity and specificity of interactions between the integrin family of cell adhesion receptors and their ligands of basement membranes are quantitatively explored with an emphasis on laminins, nephronectin, and other Arg-Gly-Asp motif-containing proteins. A novel protocol for collectively visualizing integrin ligands on tissue specimens has also been developed.
