Research Abstract |
After entry into the host plant cell, plant DNA viruses must move toward a nucleus where they express their genes and replicate. After replication, they must move toward plasmodesmata. We studied to see whether plant cytoskeletons are involved in the viral intracellular movement and found that the actin filament plays an important role in Cauliflower mosaic virus infection.
