Research Abstract |
Bioreduction system using an E. coli transformant co-expressing NAD(P)H-dependent enzyme and cofactor regeneration enzyme genes was applied to the production of other useful compounds. The reactions requiring NAD(P)H as a cofactor, such as C=C bond reductions and monooxigenation were exammined.
