Research Abstract

脱水時の体温調節の抑制の神経メカニズムを明らかにすること。これは動物を用いた生理学的実験と組織科学的実験で行う。報酬行動システムを用いて明らかにされた動物の高浸透圧負荷時の行動性体温調節の亢進がヒトにおいても認められるかを検証する。高浸透圧負荷時に認められた行動性体温調節の亢進の神経機構を明らかにすることである。これには新たな報酬行動システムの開発と生理学的、組織科学的実験を含む。これらの実験をもとに最終的には、脱水時の体温調節の変化が、従来言われているような、体温調節中枢のセットポイント体温の上昇、として説明できるか否かを結論づけることである。
