Research Abstract

In order to clarify possible associations between atheroscrelotic diseases and relating risk factors, we conducted a cohort study based on general community-residents. As shown in the results section, we found several inter-relationships among visceral obesity, insulin resistance, atherosclerosis, sarcopenia, asymptomatic cerebral diseases, cognitive function,and genetic variations.
