Research Abstract

We clarified that the suppressive effect of adiponectin on colon carcinogenesis under high-fat diet condition is mediated by AMPK using mouse carcinogenesis model, and then demonstrated the chemopreventive effect of Metformin, AMPK activator, on human subject.
