Research Abstract |
We identified the autoantigen for anti-p200 pemphigoid as laminin gamma-1 by proteomics technique, produced recombinant proteins of laminin gamma-1, and established novel ELISA. We established new immunoprecipitation technique for IgA antibodies using protein M sepharose and cultured KU8 cells which were shown to produce plenty of autoantigen for IEN type IgA pemphigus. We identified the autoantigen as IgA secretary component by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, immunoblotting and mass spectrometric analysis.
