| Research Abstract |
従来、"脳梗塞亜急性期における梗塞巣の損傷は完成してしまっており、既に不可逆的損傷を負ってしまっている、"と考えられていた梗塞巣が、実は、不可逆的変化に陥っていない脳組織が残存しており、治療の介入の余地が残されていることが推測されていた。
本研究では、亜急性期の脳梗塞巣における病態生理を解析し、細胞治療による治療メカニズムを検討することで、新しい治療戦略を考案することを主目的としている。
