Research Abstract

近年、小胞体ストレスは様々なコンフォメーショナル病との関与が明らかになっている。一方、がん疾患との関係については、がん特異的な小胞体ストレスシグナルは存在するのか?存在するとすれば何故正常細胞ががん化によりそのような特性を獲得したのか?果たして小胞体ストレスシグナルを標的としたがん治療は可能なのか?など、まだまだ解明すべき点は多く残されている。特に口腔がん領域において、小胞体ストレスとの関係を示す報告はほとんど無い。そこで本研究では、「口腔がんと小胞体ストレスは関係があるのか?」という点に絞って、小胞体ストレス応答(UPR)依存的な増殖シグナルと小胞体ストレス誘導性アポトーシスシグナルについて研究を進める。
