(1)狂犬病ウイルス抗原迅速イムノクロマト法(Rapid immunochromatography test [RICT])を実際の狂犬病診断に応用し、その有効性の検討。
(2)RICTを用いた原因不明脳炎、急性弛緩性麻痺患者における麻痺型狂犬病の有病率の調査。
(3)アジアにおける狂犬病の疫学及び分子疫学調査。
