Research Abstract	In order to elucidate microarchitectural change in human vertebral bone, the subtraction method is developed and consecutive clinical computed tomography scans were evaluated. Our results indicate osteoporosis patients can lose a substantial amount of bone especially in trabecular compartment over a relatively short period of time, and this loss can be prevented by medical intervention.
