Research Abstract |
In this study, we developed a Web-based writing aid system for students based on the mutual teaching model, which promotes students to learn writing technique spontaneously. To introduce the system to the first-grade writing classes in university, we made seven composition exercises, for example, quotation, summarization, e-mail. We did these exercises to about 550 students and made clear that the system improved the quality of student's compositions.
