Research Abstract |
The followings were clarified from "Osashizugoyouki", a material of the Imperial Palace construction in the Kansei Era : (1). While traditional style was adopted in construction for the ceremony such as Shishinden, the style was modified as needed in the living space such as Tainoya. (2). A lot of painters also participated from Osaka in the production of paintings on partitions. In some cases, painters of Kano school participated as disciples at Tosa school. (3). As an example of the ceremony space in the Imperial Palace, it introduced the construction process of Iro, which was used for mourning when Emperor's parents died, and the ceremony there.
